Endless Adventure

The Florida Keys teem with activities and attractions for visitors of all interests. Seek out new adventures on the water by chartering a fishing expedition, snorkeling the local reefs or scuba diving to explore a shipwreck on the ocean floor.

Stop by the Dolphin Research Center and swim with dolphins, located where the original Flipper movie was shot. And view the islands from a kayak, kiteboard or paddleboard.

Natural Beauty Abound

Marlin Bay Yacht Club is located a mile from Crane Point Museum and Nature Center with walking trails and home to The Marathon Wild Bird Center where you can see migrating and local birds.  The Sea Turtle Hospital is an excellent way to meet Sea Turtles and support a great organization.  Visit nearby Bahia Honda State Park and enjoy over 500 acres with some of the area’s best snorkeling and an award winning beach.

Visit local art galleries and museums, and spend the evening dining on fresh seafood and enjoy watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico.

Golf, Tennis & More

The community is minutes from two premier golf courses and tennis facilities, The Florida Keys Country Club (private) and Key Colony Beach Golf & Tennis.

And for our younger residents, across the street from Marlin Bay Yacht Club is Marathon Community Park, with tennis courts, a skate park, hockey/basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball facilities including a batting cage, bocce ball, shuffleboard, and playgrounds.

7 Mile Bridge

A few miles further on US1 will bring you to the historic, original 7 mile bridge which stands as a monument to Henry Flagler – the man who built the railroad and opened up the keys to everyone.  It is now a public park and a popular location for fishing, walking and jogging.
