As we welcome you back to Marlin Bay Resort & Marina, you’ll find that while many of our resort’s charming features are the same, we’ve made some changes so that our guests can more safely enjoy their Florida Keys vacation. Our commitment to providing a clean and safe environment has always been a priority, and now it’s strengthened by our enhanced cleanliness commitment. As seasoned hospitality professionals, we’ve taken extra precautions and preventive measures in line with the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) guidelines, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) "Safe Stay" initiatives, as well as State, Federal and local guidelines to ensure that a clean, safe, healthy environment is provided.

Public Spaces & Marina

Our team is adhering to the highest standards to ensure that all commonly touched surfaces throughout the resort and marina are frequently cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. In addition, a hand sanitizer station is available for guests to use while enjoying our outdoor amenities such as the pool table, ping pong table, and foosball. Our staff are all equipped with hand sanitizer.

Vacation Rental Residences

We’ve always been known for spotless vacation rentals, and now we’ve adopted enhanced cleaning techniques and raised our standards to ensure our spaces are sanitized and disinfected per the new guidelines prior to each guest’s arrival. In order to accommodate additional cleaning time by our staff, it has been necessary to adjust our check-in time to 5:00 pm and our check-out time to 9:00 am. While you wait for your pristine space to be prepared, our Concierge team is happy to suggest spots to visit along your drive to Marlin Bay. If your house is ready early or we can accommodate a late check out, we will let you know.

Although we’ve removed high touch decorative items and magazines that aren’t easily cleaned, the houses remain fully stocked (including EPA registered cleaning supplies) and beautifully decorated. We’ve also added a starter bottle of hand sanitizer in each home. If you need more hand sanitizer during your stay, it will be available for purchase via our Concierge.

Social Distancing

Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing between themselves and other groups of guests, and to keep group sizes to 10 people or fewer. Just like before, Concierge services will be available via phone, text, and email; however, in-person consultations will be available by appointment only (masks required). Even if we don’t meet face to face, you’ll still benefit from our personalized service.
