Get More out of Marathon

" Great spot, hidden away from the chaos of Key West. It was very quiet while we were there, so it felt like a private, super high end luxury vacation! Nice grilling stations by the docks and clean utensils. We saw a shark swim right by it, which was cool/scary. We'd stay here again. Nice little workout area as well. " I travel to Marathon several times a year and this was the first time I stayed at Marlin Bay Resort. I cannot say enough about the experience. It was hands down, one of the best places I have visited. The house was immaculate and beautifully, decorated with incredibly comfortable beds. They did not spare any expense, and it was completely loaded with every amenity you could possibly need. Every bedroom had their own pool towels, and there was a Beach bag filled with specific towels to take to the beach. If you needed anything, you just texted your concierge and they would arrange it for you instantaneously. The pool was beautiful and the bartender at the pool bar was so great. She knew all of us by name and really made the experience special. The clubhouse was also beautiful, but we didn't have any rain so we didn't really have any need to take advantage of it. They have a beautiful gym with a sauna and steam room and a shower, a pool table, shuffleboard, table, ping-pong table, and every other game by the pool you could possibly imagine. They even had a lookout tower to climb to watch the sunset but we had a roof deck so we didn't use it. They had huge grills and picnic tables all around the property and Adirondack chairs to sit and watch the sunset. I can't wait to come back "

" Stayed here Nov 21-Nov 23. Beautifully kept marina. The property is gorgeous, the docks are in excellent shape. We were in the inner basin the water was calm and the views were breathtaking. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people you could hope for. The pool area is an oasis with a bar and games area. We can't wait to return for a longer stay "
